Take it Off

Your makeup silly, not your clothes.  Of course, if you read some of my other hubs, I can see how the title may have confused you a bit.

If you are like me, the only thing you really want to do at the end of a busy day is fall into bed.  But, take that makeup off first!  If you didn't use makeup for the day, you still need to get rid of the grime.  Dirt from the streets, work, school, etc... all of this will clog your pores, create breakouts, uneven skin tone and your face will age a million times faster (Okay, maybe not that fast, but much faster than normal).

Another reason to make sure you take a few minutes to wash your face at the end of the day is that your skin renews itself overnight.  You need to give your skin a clean slate to do its best best work, especially if you have acne or aging issues to deal with.

The best type of cleansers will clean your skin completely and deeply, while not stripping away your natural oils.  A lot of people with zits make the mistake of drying their skin out to the point that causes way more zits.  Use Clearasil or other acne treatments sparingly.

Exfoliating cleansers are great too.  Many are made safe for everyday use and you'd be amazed at how much healthier and brighter your face will look if you keep the dead skin cells off of it. 

Face wipes are a MUST HAVE to help keep your skin at it's healthiest when you are on the go.  These are perfect to carry in sports bags, school bags, or office totes.   It makes keeping your skin clean a breeze and you don't need water.  If you makeup on the go, you definitely want to carry those with you at all times.

So, take it off and see what a difference keeping a clean face will make!
